Under the hood

TicTacToe is actually a desktop program built with tkinter, Python’s window library, which does not exist in the browser. So a small translator runs here: it takes the tkinter commands of my original code, meaning windows, buttons, grids and dialogs, and builds this page from them. The Python code itself stays unchanged.

If you paid attention in the film, try “Computer vs Computer” with lots of games. And if you played consoles in the eighties, you may know a certain key sequence.
